Reproductive and obstetrical outcomes with the overall survival of fertile-age women treated with fertility-sparing surgery for borderline ovarian tumors in Sweden: a prospective nationwide population-based study

ObjectiveTo assess the efficacy of fertility-sparing surgery (FSS) in terms reproductive outcomes by following FSS for borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) and comparing safety versus radical (RS).DesignNationwide cohort study based on prospectively recorded data.SettingSweden.Patient (s)All women age (18–40 years) treated Sweden stage I BOT with use or RS from 2008 to 2015, identified Swedish Quality Registry Gynecologic Cancer (SQRGC).Interventions (s)FSS RS.Main Outcome Measure (s)Reproductive outcomes: natural conception, assisted technology (ART), live birth obstetrical outcomes.
